Martin’s entire career has revolved around helping people find what they need. The first 11 years of his career were spent selling nuts and bolts to manufacturers and construction companies. His journey into recruitment began after being recruited by a recruiter to become a recruiter to recruit other people in the world of industrial goods.

The last six years of his career has been sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates for all kinds of positions, starting in the industrial world and now in the Toronto tech scene. His latest challenge is to help scale from 40 people to over 250 in less than six months.

When he’s not interviewing candidates and scrolling through LinkedIn profiles he can be found tweeting about regretting his daily coffee consumption or e-mailing his illustrator new ideas for his comic strip, Instead of Lattes.
